If you are between 18 and 28 years old, and interested in learning more about appropriate technology, community development, indigenous culture, micro-enterprise, and social entrepreneurship, consider applying to Communityfor’s internship program. The Community Development Internship involves hands-on training in Oaxaca, México, offering a unique opportunity to explore how personal faith motivates community development.
The internship focuses on education and practical training. Interns will develop friendships within partner communities. They will complete a specially designed curriculum of reading and writing and they will study Spanish and/or indigenous Mexican languages, as appropriate.
The internships last two to three months, and run three times a year (each semester and the summer). Interns are provided with housing, books, and a small monthly stipend to cover meals and activities.
More information, including FAQs, is forthcoming. For now, email internship@communityfor.org with your questions.
A completed application packet includes a Cover Letter (Optional), Completed Application Form, Application Addendum, Academic Transcripts, Curriculum Vitae (Optional), and one (1) Completed Reference Form (May be sent separately).
